Traveling again

We knew a hard day of driving was waiting for us on Friday.  We were up early and left the campground and Nashville at 4:30 AM to give us time to drive the 600 miles to Oklahoma City.  I wish we had had enough time to visit the Gaylord Hotel but time was not on our side.  It was a long drive and both of us took turns sleeping and driving and stopping for gas.  By the time we reached Arkansas we realized everything was extremely flat and road work is a major part of their life.  All we could see was farmland and a few scattered houses for miles.  The long drive was worth it in the end to arrive at Tinker AFB at 5 pm in beautiful weather to visit with our son.
