I am very glad we stopped at the Hopewell rocks, aka, the
flowerpot rocks. I had never heard of
them until we stopped at a visitor center so if you have not heard of them, you
are not alone. They are towers of rock and
mud carved out by the extreme tides of the Fundy bay, the highest tidal difference
in the world. The towers are so broad
that full sized trees grow on them and so tall that you would need a 40 foot
ladder to get on them from the sea floor.
I thought they were very cool.

If you look carefully the steep staircase is between the rocks. |

Can you imagine that within 6 hours this will be covered in water. |

Hey you photo bombed! |
