Lambert's Cafe

While we were in Alabama we decided to visit a popular local restaurant called Lambert's Cafe, the home of the throwed rolls.  It was country style, you order the meal and they have people walking around giving what they called "throwouts."  This included black eyed peas, cabbage, macaroni and tomatoes  fried okra, and potatoes.  Then they have one guy walking around throwing hot rolls to people, even to people across the room.
Fried catfish and look at the giant drinks.

Matt had the frogs legs, he said they were so good they "hopped off the plate."He  didn't like the cornbread much so someone was walking around giving out molasses, gave him and huge amount on the cornbread, and he liked it more.

Mmm, hot roll with apple butter

To the left of me is the guy walking around throwing rolls.
